tadji [Techniques]
One of the primary features of "lo do ckiku ma zvati" is the marking of technique, or tadji, during play. "lo do ckiku ma zvati" can de defined entirely in terms of tadji. The game is the collect of tadji used to play.
While playing "lo do ckiku ma zvati", you are being taught how to teach Lojban at the same time that you are being taught to speak it. These goals are simultaneously accomplished by bringing attention to tadji as they come into play.
A tadji is any method that improves your ability to gain fluency in Lojban. The first technique, "lo tadji be fa lo pu'u tadji" (technique: technique) has just been discussed on this page. It is the explicit and intentional manipulation of tadji as things during the game.
The set of tadji is unbound: Over time new tadji will be created, existing tadji will evolve, and obsolete tadji will be removed. "lo do ckiku ma zvati" is concerned with rapidly gaining fluency in Lojban, rather than prescribing precisely how to do that.
Below you will find the name, ASL sign, and a brief description of several important tadji. There is significant overlap between tadji, and players can exercise discretion over what moments should be marked by tadji.
When a tadji is introduced into play, the name, sign, and optionally the description are communicated to the players. The tadji is then performed in the situation for which it came up in play.
